In July, KLDX was actively engaged in impactful events. We participated in and organized a range of significant activities. Below, we provide an overview of the key events we were involved in throughout July, highlighting our contributions and the insights gained from these events.
PhillipCapital 14th Investment Conference 2024

We were honored to receive a token of appreciation from Andy Lim Group, Managing Director of Phillip Capital Malaysia, presented to our CEO, Selvarany Rasiah.
Highlights from the event:
- Global HNWI wealth surged by 4.7% in 2023, hitting $86.8 trillion. The HNWI population grew by 5.1% to 22.8 million globally, with the Asia Pacific segment expanding by 4.8%.
- Increased demand for alternative assets saw allocations to the asset class grow from 9% to 15% in 2024.
- Over the next two decades, aging generations will transfer over $80 trillion, fueling demand for financial and non-financial value-added services.
As the sole digital asset platform at the event, KLDX was thrilled to share insights on digital asset opportunities, including fundraising and investing through our IEO platform as well as our first tokenised Islamic Investment Note offering.
Webinar: IEO Fundraising for SMEs with Digital Penang

In collaboration with Digital Penang, we successfully brought together over 15 business owners from Penang to explore the world of fundraising via security tokens. Participants learned that security tokens offer flexible instruments to meet various issuer needs and that fundraising through an Initial Exchange Offering (IEO) provides a faster time to market as well as a cost-effective option for MSMEs.
There was significant interest in exploring alternative funding options beyond the traditional market. It was highlighted that raising an IEO serves as an excellent testbed for companies planning future IPOs, helping them prepare for public market expectations with a lighter regulatory approach.
Discussion Session with Malaysian Association of Asset Managers (MAAM)
